PIXRAY was proud to be a sponsor and contributor to this year's conference.

"I had an incredibly engaging two days at this year's EANA conference in Lisbon. PIXRAY was proud to sponsor the event, and I had the pleasure of presenting our product, Fair Licensing. We love to work with News Agencies because there are few other organizations that are so relevant for a functioning society as they are. The importance of their work cannot be overstated. And there are just great people in these organizations", says PIXRAY CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Wetzig.

The feedback to Dennis Wetzig's presentation of Fair Licensing was overwhelmingly positive. "At PIXRAY we know that our fair and friendly approach of directly resolving copyright infringements is of great value for news agencies. It was great to get such positive confirmation for this once more at the EANA conference", says Dennis Wetzig.

What is EANA?

EANA - The European Alliance of News Agencies, was established in 1956 and is headquartered in Bern, Switzerland. It currently comprises 33 European news agencies. EANA advocates for its members' shared interests, upholds press freedom, and promotes impartial news reporting. The alliance fosters collaboration and information sharing among its members while striving to create a supportive legal and economic environment for news agencies.

Emphasizing the significance of copyright and related rights in news services, EANA underscores its role in enabling news agencies to deliver unbiased news in an increasingly interconnected and technological landscape. According to EANA, legislative measures should acknowledge the intellectual and financial contributions of news agencies. Unauthorized usage of their services undermines their operations and credibility as independent news providers across various domains, ranging from politics to sports.
