35. 15th Carmignac Photojournalism Award

The Carmignac Photojournalism Award, established in 2009 by Edouard Carmignac and directed by Emeric Glayse, annually funds investigative photo reportages on human rights and global issues. The 15th edition supports a 9-month project on human rights violations and intensive fishing in Southeast Asia. A jury will select the winner in Paris in September 2024. The project will run from October 2024 to June 2025, followed by a traveling exhibition and a dedicated website.

36. Exposure One Awards - 2024 One Shot Photo Contest

The contest's goal is to celebrate the timeless, eternal nature of black and white photography through the vivid images of our global community. The Exposure One Awards are Managed by Creative Resource Collective. 37. Lucie Photobook Prize

Lucie Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, honors master photographers, cultivates emerging talent, and promotes global appreciation of photography. It offers various programs, including The Lucie Awards. The Lucie Photo Book Prize, open to diverse submissions from published to hand-made books, awards photographers, editors, curators, or publishers for projects created between March 2022 and October 2024.

Entry fees: Traditional: $55 for first submission, 20% discount for additional categories. Awarded to a photographer, editor, curator, or publisher of a commercially produced book.

Independent: $35 for first submission, 20% discount for additional categories. Awarded to a photographer, editor, curator, or publisher of an independently published book.

Categories: Photographers are welcome to submit their books. Eligible books include exhibition catalogues, proposals, self-published, limited edition, multi-artist, single-author, intersectional, zine, reissue, and more.
